“Since applying for this scholarship, I have lost my only living parent, my mother. Receiving this scholarship has given me so much hope. It serves as a reminder of all of the people who have helped me each step of the way over the past few months of my life. As I navigate this new chapter of my life, I will never forget what this scholarship has done for me.”

“Entering the university as a first-generation student, I was not sure how I would be able to continue throughout my four years but it is donors like you that have truly made an impact on my time here. I no longer have to face the dilemma of “do I give up school time and work to afford school?”

“During my collegiate years as a Phi Mu at Johns Hopkins, I offered my own time in giving back to our campus and local community through philanthropic efforts. These fundraisers and community outreach activities … have motivated me to remain in Baltimore, Maryland as well as pursue a career in obstetrics and gynecology to uplift and empower women through healthcare.”
